    Great trail maping system

Posted by Roland Gelinas on Sep 16th 2019

I upgraded my older version of Maine ATV trail to the X version. I loved to older version and hope to have as good a luck with the X version. The only issue with the old version as well as the X is that to old discontinued trails don't get removed. I know that some trail have been closed for years but still show up as existing.

A necessity for riding Maine's trails if you're a novice

Cell phone service is sketchy and maps never come up on the phone, this is great for your Garmin GPS if you plan to drive any of the trails.

Great to have for our trip.

Purchased the download version to use for our "Bucket List" Trip to Maine. Program downloaded with ease and the install instructions were well detailed and easy to follow. Map was detailed nicely and for the most part spot on accurate in regards to the trail system we rode. There were a few variances and even a few marked trails that were not on the GPS however more than likely from a few changes in the trail systems in spring (weather related). Everything else was great and for sure worth the cost to have. The current paper maps the clubs and state have are not that good, so having the GPS was excellent to have to plan our trips and execute them with peace of mind.

Bought the ATV trail product for a friend who just bought a new Ranger atv. He loves it. He didn’t know that there were so many marked trails. Great product.

    Don't leave home without it.

Having the ATV GPS trail maps takes all the stress out of your ride. When it's getting dark and your deep in the Maine woods, all the trails start to look the same and it's very easy to get turned around. Don't rely on all trails being marked properly, they are not.

Trip to Maine is in July but so far loaded in Garmon Basecamp and looks great. Good info for planning our day trips.

Have not been on the trail with it yet but...

Posted by Mike on Mar 29th 2018

I have loaded this on base camp and my Garmin 680t, I have created a few "routes" and am anxious to test it out fully. I can see that a few trails I have been on are not on it but I realize these trails change daily depending on disrespectful riders causing trail closures and new trails to connect this closure. Printing a map with the 20k free topo with a route in high resolution and calling the club before riding will give much real time trail data.

Great Alternative to pricey Polaris GPS dashboard

Posted by Unknown on Mar 26th 2018

Bought the chip and used it in an older Garmin gps I had hanging around my house. Great maps overlaid onto the existing Garmin basemap. Does exactly what is advertised. Pretty much all the trails in the eastern Maine area are correctly mapped. A great guidance tool that is on par with the very expensive factory gps dash. Can’t beat it for the price!
